Basement Guest Suite w/ Patio!

Welcome to North Portland! Spread out in our spacious basement guest suite and enjoy relaxing out on the covered patio with the firepit rain or shine. Our home is a quick drive from popular Alberta and Mississippi streets and a 10-minute walk to the beautiful Peninsula Park and a few neighborhood coffee shops and restaurants. Only a 15-minute drive from PDX airport! The space The apartment is a basement suite with a separate side entrance equipped with the essential amenities. You'll walk downstairs and see a bathroom and hallway, and one large L-shaped room. We've made the most of a funky layout to have dedicated spaces for the bed, living room, small dining area and workspace. We live upstairs with our small dog, Tuna, and work remotely from home during the week. You may hear us walking around or her bark from time to time. Because it's a basement, ceilings are a little under 7 ft tall and may feel a bit low for taller folks. The bathroom and shower are a bit small but functional - our friends/family haven't had any issues so far. Enjoy streaming your favorite shows on the smart TV and high-speed internet if you need to work remotely. You'll also find a washer and dryer downstairs that you can use for an extra charge. There's no cooking space, but we hope you bring back some leftovers from the amazing restaurants here and enjoy making coffee or tea in the morning. We don't have a dedicated AC unit downstairs - the basement stays comfortably cool in the summer except when there is a major heat wave. We have 2 standing fans, dehumidifiers that make it pretty comfortable, and a space heater for the winter. The backyard patio and yard are a shared space and yours to enjoy! We'll occasionally play ball with our dog in the backyard or sit out there when the weather is nice. Parking: The house is situated on a main road with lots of on-street parking available right in front of the house. If you prefer to not be right on the main road, there's plenty of street parking around the corner on side streets (all free). Other things to note: Apartment entrance includes keyless entry for fast check-in and 24/7 access. Please refrain from smoking inside the unit, vaping or use of marijuana is okay outside.
