Lake Retreat! Gorgeous sunset views & 2 fire pits!

Relax and unwind at this peaceful and comfortable lakefront home! With 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen, living room, and 4-season sunroom, you will have plenty of room. Grill out and enjoy a meal on the deck overlooking the lake, or watch the sunset sitting by one of our two fire pits (one gas, the other wood) while bald eagles soar overhead. Nestled on the outskirts of town with quick access to biking and walking trails, yet just minutes from downtown, UW-Stout, restaurants, and shopping. The space The home features a spacious and open main floor living area. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and large windows allowing natural light to flood the space. The living room includes a Roku TV with access to local channels and streaming services. The newly renovated kitchen has granite and porcelain countertops, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a hidden induction cooktop, and all the tools you need to prepare a meal. The dining table has seating for 6, with a gas fireplace to enjoy cozy meals together. Adjacent to the dining room, the all-season sunroom features additional seating for visiting or enjoying a cocktail while overlooking the lake. French doors lead from the kitchen to a spacious deck, where you can grill and dine outdoors, sip your morning coffee, or simply admire the natural beauty that surrounds you. The large yard offers plenty of space for enjoying the lake view, with a gas fire pit and large sunken wood firepit overlooking the lake. In the winter months, enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing from nearby trails. The Lake Menomin biking/walking loop borders our neighborhood, and Lake Menomin park is within walking distance for mountain biking and hiking enthusiasts. Bedrooms and Sleeping Arrangements: All bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor of the home. - Wake up to views of the lake in the primary bedroom. It has a king-sized bed, a newly renovated ensuite bathroom with heated tile floors, double sinks, and a walk-in tile shower. This room has a closet and dresser for guests to use. - The second bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and a dresser. - The third bedroom features a full-sized bed and dresser. - The fourth bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a dresser, and a built-in desk. There is a 2nd full bathroom on the 2nd floor, and a half bath on the 1st floor. We have embraced the original concept of Airbnb, and this is our personal home that we are happy to allow our guests to enjoy while we are away. We are professional hosts with multiple properties, so hospitality and amenities will not be lacking! 1 Dog is allowed with payment of an additional pet fee. Please include the dog in your guest count when booking. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. See house rules for complete expectations regarding bringing a dog. As this is our home and neighborhood, please keep this in mind while booking. Parties and excessive noise will not be tolerated. A signed Rental Agreement, photo ID, and credit card for $500 security deposit hold are required within 48 hours of booking to confirm your reservation. Guest access Guests have access to first and second floor of the home. There is no access to the garage or the basement. Each bedroom has a locked closet, as well as a locked first floor closet for owner's personal items. Each room has a dresser for clothing storage. The primary has a closet. Clothing racks can be requested with advance notice. Other things to note There are approximately 130 steps to get down to the lake from the property. The high elevation facilitates awesome views, but may make it difficult for some guests to get down to the water. There is a dock on the property and you are welcome to use it to fish or dock your boat. The water quality of Lake Menomin is low in the summer months, so please keep that in mind if you intend to fish or swim. There is central heating and air conditioning only on the 1st floor of the home. The 2nd floor has a window AC units in each bedroom that will be installed if daytime temperatures are expected to be above 80° during your stay. The bedrooms are heated via electric baseboard heat and the 2nd floor bathrooms through in-floor heat.
