From 01 March 2026, the downstairs unit may be unavailable. This includes the garage under the house. A deck off the main lounge to enjoy the surroundings. Plenty of funky beachfront shops, cafes, restaurants and bars near by. Attractions: Cradle Mt, bike/walking trail, Dial Ranges & beach & golf. The space Upstairs is a three bedroom house: One queen, one double and one king single trundle with a single underneath. There is one bathroom. Downstairs is a 1 bedroom self-contained unit featuring queen bed, bathroom, toilet, laundry, a small living area & kitchenette. From 01 March 2026, the downstairs unit may be unavailable. This includes the garage under the house. There are two undercover car spaces, one under the house and one roadside at the top of the drive. For larger vehicles, there is plenty of free parking on the street, it is a quiet no through road, making it a little safer. The drive is a shared space and parking outside the bottom garage should be temporary only. Our neighbour likes to turn her vehicle around in this area😌. It is a steep drive to the house, with steps and a boardwalk which could be an issue for people with restrictive mobility. Guest access There is a key-safe for self check in. Instructions provided the day before check in. Other things to note Penguin is a central to the NW Coast tourist attractions and towns. -30-minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal and Devonport airport. -15 minutes to Burnie - 75 minutes to Cradle Mountain - the coastal bike and walking track passes through Penguin - Dial Mountain Bike Tracks, Penguin golf course and other sports facilities are 5 minutes drive away. If you are coming for an extended period and requiring longer stay accommodation, we are happy to be contacted to negotiate a price.
