The space Cosy detached stone built two storey Cottage with; •Ground floor open plan living space and kitchenette comprising of microwave, toaster, george foreman grill/griddle, fridge and utensils (No freezer or oven). •The first floor has a double bedroom and separate toliet and shower. •Gas central heating, thermostatically controlled •Double glazed windows •Bed linen, towels and tea towels provided •Ironing board, hairdryer, clothes airer, hook-on radiator airer. •32" TV/DVD in lounge •28" TV and separate DVD player in bedroom •Netflix •A selection of DVD's and board games like Monopoly and Scrabble About this space Ideally located for exploring all Snowdonia and North Wales has to offer this beautifully renovated detached ex Quarryman’s Cottage is in a great location with a light contemporary interior, original features and is ideal for year round vacations. On the edge of Snowdonia National Park and walking distance to Zip World, Bounce Below and Antur Stiniog MBT. In the town centre you’ll find the famous Ffestiniog Railway, cafes, pub and shops. Within easy reach of Porthmadog and Betws-y-Coed. Local on road free parking. There is no dedicated space for the Cottage, however there are ample locations along the main road and adjacent side roads to park on. Lloyds Coaches and Trans Cymru operate regular services between Blaenau Festiniog and Porthmadog, where you will find everything from fabulous beaches to the Festiniog Steam Railway and shops, cafes, restaurants and grocery stores Aldi, Lidl and Tesco The Vale of Ffestiniog boasts a huge range of walks within stunning scenery with some of the best footpaths in Snowdonia. Within 20 minutes walk of the cottage one will find fabulous waterfalls and well as Cwmorthin, a lovely walk with waterfalls, lake, mountains surrounding it and views across the stunning landscape. Blaenau Ffestiniog is a Unesco World Heritage site due to its slate mining history and is within easy reach of Beddgelert, Llanberis and Snowdon by car or public transport. One can go back in time and take a steam train from Blaenau Ffestiniog through some pristine landscape to Porthmadog, where other steam trains can be taken to other fabulous villages in the area. 7 minutes’ walk to Titan Zip World, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Bounce Below, Underground golf and Antur Stiniog downhill mountain bike trails. Go Below, an underground adventure experience based in Tanygrisiau is about a 25 minute walk from the cottage. 9 minutes walk to Blaenau Ffestiniog town centre where you’ll find Morrissons and the Co Op shops, a selection of takeaways and cafes, fish & chip shop and chemists. National trains run from Blaenau Ffestiniog along the beautiful Conwy Valley down to Betwys-Y-Coed and on to the popular coastal resort of Llandudno. From here one can get a train that will connect to practically anywhere a train goes in the Uk. Guest access Complete house is dedicated to guests with no shared spaces.
