Description
Honeypot Cottage is a charming 17th Century house, located in one of the most sought after streets in the heart of the seaside town of Southwold. It is a traditional fisherman’s cottage that has recently been extensively refurbished and redecorated using vintage furniture and designer fabrics. The space Honeypot Cottage is situated on Park Lane and benefits from both front and rear access. The sunny, south facing living room features two designer sofas, a newly installed gas fire and a Sony Smart TV and fast fibre Wi-Fi connectivity. At the rear of the house is a well-equipped traditional kitchen with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is no microwave. The back door opens onto a charming courtyard garden with wisteria, honeysuckle, jasmine and roses; perfect for a quiet morning coffee or an alfresco cocktail! The bright and elegant master bedroom is found at the top of the stairs. It has a comfortable king size bed, a walk in cupboard and an ornamental fireplace. Across the landing is the newly decorated bathroom with a large roll top bath with a hand held shower attachment. A second flight of stairs takes you to the spacious second bedroom with comfortable twin beds and two cupboards. A view of the iconic Southwold Lighthouse can be admired from this room. NB Honeypot Cottage is a typical period property and as such has quite narrow doorways and relatively steep stairs. Sadly, it is therefore not suitable for guests with babies or mobility issues and care should be taken at all times. Guest access Guests will have access to all parts of the house except for the cellar.
