We offer a charming wooden home in the quiet residential area of Rågeleje, a short walk from the ocean. A peaceful home secluded at the bottom of a dead end road with no by-passing traffic with a beautiful large garden, wood burner, outdoor fireplace & sauna. A mini-supermarket is walking distance. The location & organic home design is ideal for holidays w/ a loved one or a quiet space for creative work or wellness retreat where our services on offer, silence, nature & a nearby ocean inspire. The space Nestled in what is deemed the Danish Riviera, this unique wooden home exudes character & features an open plan design. The home offers two bedroom annexes which we rent to guests, providing extra quiet & privacy. WELLNESS: As seasoned & skilled practitioners we offer optional Wellness & Holistic Retreat add-on's to make your stay with us luxurious, rejuvenating & extra special. LOCATION: People love the coastal & natural location this home offers, due to its proximity to Rågeleje beach. A quick car ride or bus trip can take you to the charming close-by fishing town of Gilleleje or vibrant village of Tisvildeleje, the backdrop for the renowned Musik og Leje festival. Additionally nature walks can be taken out the back garden gate & a short car ride for walks at historical sites (see photos for details). SHARED SPACE: The communal living room offers a powerful wood burner that heats the entire place in the winter. Amongst the houses amenities include Wi-Fi, fully-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine & more extraordinarily a special harp chair that anyone can play, designed for relaxation. The bathroom has a beautiful boheme décor with a walk-in shower & a free standing clawfoot bathtub for indulgent, deep relaxing soaks. GARDEN In the summer, the large enclosed garden teems with herbs, edible flowers, kale & the gentle hum of busy bees. It offers a generous terrace with an elegant round stone table & big oak table perfect for delightful summer meals. As the night falls, the garden can be transformed into a magical haven with a rustic & snug outdoor fireplace, along with a wood-burning sauna that resembles a cozy hobbit house, nestled at the garden's far end. Small & big kids can enjoy both the table tennis and rustic trampoline. Guest access All areas. Depending on the day, we may need quiet in the main living room. During your stay We completely respect guests space & autonomy. We follow your lead & do our best to match your preferences with levels of interaction, socialising & communication. We aim to personally welcome all of our guests, however at times there might be a welcoming with a trusted friend or self-check in service (key-box). If we are not home for part or all of your stay - every morning we are available online for help should you need. Other things to note Bonus if you're a cat lover! There's a friendly, big, white cat named Baba who lives here all the time. He's always ready to greet guests, sleeps a lot, mainly outside in the summer & not in the bedrooms. IMPORTANT NOTE * Due to the cat, unfortunately it is strict that NO DOGS or other pets are allowed.
