Hoxly Hideaway: The Grove Bunkie w/hot tub

Welcome to The Grove Bunkie at Hoxly Hideaway! Relax in your private hot tub, unwind by the firepit, or enjoy one of our many board games. It is located in the "downtown" of Elgin, NB. Open year-round, enjoy peace and privacy steps from the Elgin Eco Park, hiking & cycling trails, ATV and snowmobiling trails, the Pollett River, and much much more. Hoxly is 12 minutes to Petitcodiac, 40 minutes to Moncton, 30 minutes to Sussex, 50 minutes to Fundy National Park and 55 minutes to Shediac. The space The property consists of two 10x30 tiny homes situated on 5 acres of land right on the main road in the heart of Elgin. **This unit not available? Check out "The Knoll", which is the other unit on the same property. The Knoll is also pet friendly, not this unit* Outside on the deck steps from the front door, there is a private hot tub to unwind in, a hammock by the front steps, a seating area, BBQ, outdoor games, and three seasons outside shower (not operating in the Winter). Completing the outdoor space is a firepit area (wood is provided). Inside you will find a well equipped kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge (with freezer), two individual cooktop burners (NO stove), microwave, toaster oven, air fryer, kettle, and Keurig (complimentary coffee & tea pods, sugar, hot chocolate, and milk & cream are provided). Everything else needed for cooking is right at your fingertips! A cozy seating area with love seat is a great space for board games, a movie night, cards, or to put your feet up and relax. Enjoy the three piece bath during your stay that has all the amenities provided and heated porcelain floors for comfort. With the bunkie South facing, it has full sun throughout the day. Enjoy beautiful wooded views from a big picture window from your luxurious & cozy bed (if you are looking for a bit more shade check out our other unit, The Knoll). Guest access Guests will have entire bunkie to themselves. A code will be provided to the door. We ask that you stay to the field in front of the bunkie if out walking so as not to disturb guests in the the other unit. In the "Exterior" photos section, you will find an aerial picture that shows you the boundaries). Other things to note The property is on the main road in the heart of "downtown" Elgin. Cleaning fee: In order to keep our rate reasonable we do not charge a cleaning fee but do ask for general tidying Please no cooking of shellfish or fish in the bunkie as Laura is very allergic. Thank you! Fires: From April to November there can be fire bans. Please check the NB Forest Fire Watch (GNB website) for daily restrictions. Their website updates daily at 2pm. Fireworks: Not permitted. Exploring: Please be cautious of your GPS if traveling to or from Fundy National Park/Alma as it may take you on backroads meant for 4x4 vehicles and areas that don't have cell service. We recommend going back to Petitcodiac, getting on the highway towards Sussex, then taking exit 211 to Penobsquis/Alma. It is about a 50minute drive. The property is an old family homestead so there may be small shards of glass around. We are doing our best to remove what we can.
