Cozy and bright studio with a view, in the heart of the village of Mijoux. We welcome you to our renovated 19 m² studio, fully equipped for a comfortable stay in the mountains. Located in the Haut-Jura Natural Park, in the heart of the Valserine Valley, it is the perfect base for walks on the ridges of the Jura Mountains and for discovering the surrounding landscapes. The space The studio is on the 1st floor of the Le Refuge residence on the village's main street. It has been modernized to give it a warm, contemporary atmosphere. Everything has been done to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The main room is bright and functional. There is a sitting area with a comfortable sofa bed, a table for 4 people and a TV. A French window leads you to a small west-facing balcony where you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine of the day. The shower room is compact but well laid out. It includes a shower, a sink, a heated towel rail, and a toilet. The mountain corner is ideal for travelers looking for adventure. The bunk beds make it possible to optimize space. Shelves with outlets have been added for the occupants' personal belongings. The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, fridge, stovetop with range hood, microwave, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, toaster and a compact 19L mini oven with fan-assisted heating. This will allow you to prepare very good meals. And of course, you have a cheese fondue pot and a raclette set. Attention! 1. Sheets, towels and dish towels are not included in the price. 2. Housekeeping to be done before check-out. The studio is ideally located in the center of the village, where you will find a Sherpa, a butcher shop, a laundromat, a hairdresser, and 2 restaurants. For all information on events and activities, you will find the tourist office right on the ground floor. Other things to note Winter equipment for vehicles is mandatory from November to April. Depending on the arrival dates, some shops may be closed - we can provide you with information if necessary - please do not hesitate to contact us. For hygiene reasons and because the accommodation is in the reserve, no pets are allowed. Other things to note Please note that bedding and towels are not provided. Single duvets are supplied for the two bunk beds and the sofa bed so you will need to bring duvet covers, single bed size base sheets (for the bunk beds) and a double size (140 X 90cm) base sheet for the sofa beds. Plus two square (65 X 65cm) pillowcases for each person. Plus towels.
