For a couple it's as cozy as it gets...The barn was designed with sleeping pockets so it's romantic and small but big when you walk downstairs! Cozy was our top priority on this space and while it's a real barn...It's not rustic!! Everything in here is top of the line so no need to be a total DIY mountain man unless ya want to!!! Not only does The Bunny Barn boast amazing views and a gorgeous environment to relax in, the location is perfect to experience the best of what Vermont has to offer...If you ski, you will be hard pressed to find a better location to access a variety of ski resorts. We are 10 minutes to Stratton Ski Resort, 10 minutes to Bromley, 5 to Magic, 30 minutes to Mt. Snow, 35 minutes to Okemo, and 60 minutes to Killington. The town of Manchester is known for great shopping and lots of local cuisine. Whether you want to shop at high end boutiques, need a drug store, grab lunch, or need to snag some groceries, it's all 20 minutes from the lodge. There are plenty of things to do in the spring and summer, such as golfing (4 courses nearby), fishing (3 state parks that have excellent lakes and fishing), local farmers markets, wineries, multiple local dairy farms to tour and sample, outdoor theaters. Ben is a cookbook author and the host of a few TV shows...Both food related and building related! Want antiques and secret food spots?? Ask Ben for all his local discoveries. Many years riding his old BMW bike around these parts...Mr Sargent has sniffed out ALL the spots you would normally miss in a quick trip up to our area. Secret breweries, lobster roll spots, pies, syrup...We got ya covered!!! Having been in restaurants most of his life (some totally underground) Ben prides himself on giving you a REAL food experience in our area!! WHAT TO BRING... -Bring extra towels for the hot tub and sauna! We have you covered for regular bathroom towels. -Pack warm! VT can get chilly even in the sunny months when the sun goes down! -Pack a good pair of boots. -Keep in mind we clean out the kitchen of just about everything between guests so please bring spices and even cooking oils. -Bring a bag of ice.
