The space Our waterfront home sits on a large beautiful private lot. The views from every space of the house is breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful lagoon and lush green mountains. From the very large deck, built with local wood, a grass area surrounded by tropical plants and trees lead to the water. Snorkel right outside the house or take the kayaks or paddle board to explore the lagoon. During whale season (July-November) its a short paddle to where the whales come in to breed and give birth (follow local regulations and be cautious around the whales). On occasion you can see whales right from the deck! The nearby motu is also just a short paddle away, where you will find the most amazing clear water. When in season, pick avocado, mango, banana, starfruit, grapefruit, breadfruit, coconuts right from our garden. On the front side of the house, a large hill with more tropical plants to explore. Our house has been carefully furnished and decorated for comfort and beauty and is fully equipped with everything you may need. The furniture is comfortable with dining areas both inside and on the deck, living/lounge areas inside and out as well. The large sliding doors (total of 6) truly makes for a seamless inside/outside feel. The kitchen of course has a dishwasher, coffee maker as well as an espresso machine (Nespresso), toaster, a big fridge/freezer and an induction cooktop and oven. Our wifi works great and is reliable. The two spacious bedrooms (one with an American King, 193cm (76”), bed and one with a European King, 160 cm (63”), bed have bathrooms that are modern and impeccable, with large rain shower heads and exotic local wood countertops. One of the bedrooms has a TV, and there is another TV in the great room (total of 2). Our mattresses are new and very comfortable. One additional person can sleep on the large sofa, or for a younger child we have a few extra mattresses. A portable crib is also available. Views over the lagoon and the lush mountains from every space of the house. The great room as well as the bedrooms all open to the wrap around deck, where you will spend a lot of time. Wake up to amazing views over the lagoon right from your bed. Right on the water, there is also a traditional Polynesian hut with another seating area and an outdoor shower. 2 kayaks and one paddle board for your use. We also have some fishing equipment, snorkel gear, pétanque sets. Meal service (traditional Polynesian cooking) and additional cleaning during your stay is available upon request.
