Cottage with private pool

Enjoy a 4-person cottage located in the countryside of the Lot, close to Montcuq and Lauzerte. Located in a hamlet of Quercy Blanc, the cottage is located in an outbuilding of a 17th century farm. You benefit from a terrace shaded by a wisteria, open to a non-fenced but exclusive garden and a vast meadow with an above-ground pool 5 meters in diameter. The meadow offers beautiful views of the rolling countryside. The space You enter through a large bay window into the main room. It includes the kitchen area, bordered by an island with its four stools. A large sofa with chaise longue, a stove and a TV complete the sober but quality and comfortable furniture... An upright piano, however, adds the unnecessary to the pleasant, at least for those who know how to play. The room is overlooked by a mezzanine offering a nice reading corner. This room is of harmonious dimensions, with a high ceiling. The original raw beams and stone walls remind us of the elegant rusticity of the houses of yesteryear. The mezzanine serves as a gateway to the upstairs bedroom, lit by the roof windows, which we have arranged to be intimate and warm. Leaving the room, you go down a few steps into a small hallway that leads to the bathroom/toilet, and the downstairs bedroom. This is lit by a double French window that opens onto the small gravel courtyard on the south side. This room retains its coolness well, being semi-buried on the north side. As for the outdoors, we hope you will have the same pleasure as we do to extend the end of meals (or aperitifs) on your green terrace. For winter, you'll fall asleep on the couch watching the embers glow. You will find yourself contemplating the great 360-degree skies, and savoring the moments of silence that only a location away from the main roads can provide. Hiking trails are accessible without taking a car. You will cross valleys, ridge paths, you will walk along meadows, fields of wheat, sunflower, lavender, and forests of small oaks. If you take the car, you don't need to drive for hours to find things to do. The villages are lively and pleasant. You can canoe on the Lot. You can buy fresh quality products at the markets. You can visit castles or vineyards. But you can also do nothing at all and dry out in the sun between two dips. Guest access Garden and Prairie Other things to note We have parachute plane overflights, competition from August 10 to August 21 so more flights You can play music on the terrace and pool until 10pm. Internet may be interrupted if a phone charger is plugged into the upstairs bedroom on certain outlets. So, experiment. The washing machine door must be slammed shut firmly. The garbage cans (One plastic/paper container, one non-recyclable) are 50 meters from the access road. Please remember to put only toilet paper in the toilet because it is a septic tank. So no paper towels or tampons, otherwise it will clog.
