Guest access Entire house Other things to note GAS/SOLAR/WATER & FARM ROAD INFORMATION GAS - The Showers are powered by Gas as is the oven hob. SOLAR - If the sun doesn't shine then please feel free to use the gas kettle and try to use oven sparingly to save power. There are 2 x 5.1 kwh lithium batteries (8kw Inverter) for the 12 solar panels which act as back up power but could run out if the weather is overcast/raining. The road to Malgas off the N2 is 42km long and is a dirt road with loose gravel and bumps. The water used at the house is river water and not drinkable and whilst we try to keep fresh water available it’s not always possible so please bring some fresh water with you and then you can fill up the available bottles from the local store. It is fine for bathing and showers and there is a dishwasher.
