The Twin Pines Cabin provides an upgraded camping experience for anyone who would like to camp but still have amenities and comfortable housing Twin Pines is located just four miles from I-57 in a small village with a unique history. Our cabin is five miles from Rend Lake, a popular Southern Illinois destination for many activities. Whether you are staying to rest as you travel through or want to stay a few days to enjoy all that the area has to offer, you will enjoy your stay at Twin Pines! The space Twin Pines is a one-room cabin (192sqft) think tiny house with an additional half-sized camping style bathroom. A camping bathroom has a RV style toilet and an RV style sink. There is not tub or shower, however we do provide No Rinse bathing whips for a quick 60 second freshen up. They actually do a nice job and are a unique experience. For complete info on how to work the RV toilet there are instructions in the binder above the kitchenette. Outside there 2 chairs and a storage box. In the box is a small Weber gas grill and chair cushions. Guest access The code to the keyless entry will be sent to you via Airbnb messaging up to the day of your stay your stay. Other things to note There is private parking on the east side of the cabin. The gravel drive is long enough for a truck and and a boat. There is a lighted wooden post at the end of the drive with a twin pines sign.
