In the evening marvel at the most amazing sunsets out on the deck. The Retreat is only 14kms from the centre of Bendigo, but you may find you don't want to leave this quiet and secluded little haven! You are most welcome to walk down the valley and marvel at the 450yr old trees. The space 4yr old Strawbale home, heated by Ned Kelly Wood Heater. Situated on the same property as Ai Reiki Studio, in-house Reiki or Massage can be booked at an extra cost - $120 per hour. Note: Bookings for Reiki and Massage should be done prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. Guest access Guest's have private access to the Kitchen, Laundry, and Dining areas, and also the back deck. Other things to note The Retreat is 5 mins drive to IGA Supermarket, Chemist, Post Office, local hotels Braidies Tavern, and the very poplar cafe Forage. The Farmers Arms Hotel and Axedale Tavern are only another 10 minutes away. The Heathcote wine region, is a great place to spend an afternoon, only a 25 minute drive away.
