Welcome to our cozy warm Snug in our lovely village. Spend days exploring then come back to our beautiful hot tub with roof canopy and curtains. You can watch our illuminated waterfall and listen to it's magical water. Great base for exploring Yorkshire and enjoying the beautiful countryside and tourist attractions. We also have great bus and train services here which can take you all over Yorkshire. The space The Snug is cozy and stylish and is perfectly placed for people wanting seclusion and relaxation and is set in a pretty village with many walks of varying lengths. You can walk through woodlands, moorlands, fields, golf courses, canals, rivers, castles and a National Trust House with gardens and river walk. The Snug comprises cobbled garden area with seating next to the stream, as you head down to the Snug, you can watch the waterfall, from there head to the Snug's private hot tub and seating garden. The Snug is entered via sliding patio doors, straight into a cozy living room with comfy sofa and smart tv with Netflix and Prime. This leads to the luxurious shower room. There is a cozy nook with a desk, chair and lamp for anybody wanting to work. Leading on is the kitchen, with sink, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and small fridge freezer. Finally the master bedroom with king size Hypnos bed, dressing table, bedside tables and smart tv with Netflix and Prime. The Snug is in the heart of Yorkshire making it central to all the amazing places tourists like to visit. We have placed books in the Snug to give you ideas. The Snug is also close to excellent transport systems, in case you want to ditch the car! There is a regular bus service 50 yds from the Snug taking you to several lovely towns and villages and into Keighley bus station from where buses run to Skipton, Grassington, Ilkley etc. There are two railway stations, Crossflatts and Keighley, both are within a ten minute drive. Why not take the train into Leeds, which is a 20 to 30 minute train ride and explore this vibrant city. Or from Keighley station, you could visit the Worth Valley Steam Railway (used as sets for films such as The Railway Children, Yanks and The Platform). There's nothing like visiting Haworth and Bronte country on a steam train! A ten minute walk takes you to the canal and East Riddlesden Hall. The hall is beautiful, I have left a booklet for you to look at in the Snug. It is a popular wedding venue and we are perfectly placed to offer accommodation for the happy couple. For any special occasions, such as weddings, birthdays etc, please ask as we can arrange packages to make the occasion extra special. The Snug is 30 minutes from Leeds Bradford Airport. And about 1 hour 45 minutes to Manchester Airport making us a great place for a stop off. Guest access The property is self check-in and guest have exclusive access to the garden/ hot tub. Check in details will be provided on booking via the host. Please see photos on the listing from images of the apartment entrance and note there are stairs down to the snug. The property is not suitable for any guests with mobility issues due to the steps. Other things to note We are dog friendly, please bring bed, bowls etc Smoking is OK on the cobbled garden but not in the Snug or Snug garden. Please bring your own ashtray! Thanks
