Other things to note Gorgeous Gerty has a small, simple bathroom and includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer. There is also a hidden laundry with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Gorgeous Gerty is an original 1800s miner’s cottage that stays pleasantly comfortable most of the time, though extended stretches of 35+ days can make it warmer. While there’s no air conditioning, each room is equipped with a fan. We are very close to hospitals such as St Vincent’s, Epworth Freemasons, Epworth Maternity and Eye and Ear.
