The space The Cozy Oak Cottage at The Red Barn Ranch is situated in between the mature oak trees and surrounded by wildlife (including nearly daily visits from white tail and occasional axis deer) in the beautiful hill country. The cottage is privately tucked in the oaks on a 9 acre property shared with owner’s farmhouse AND The Red Barn Inn Airbnb behind the farmhouse (JUST re opened after remodel.) 📍Conveniently located off the scenic Hill Country pathway to the famous music venue of Luckenbach (20 minutes), 35 minutes to the stunningly beautiful Fredericksburg's wineries, less than 10 minutes to historic downtown Boerne (culinary delight’s & fabulous shopping on the Hill Country Mile!) & a 5 minute drive to the Guadalupe river (we were not directly affected by the recent devastating flooding here at The Red Barn Ranch). Many Hill Country wedding venues within quick drive as well. 🦜Bird watching outside the cottage window has been a huge hit! Seasonal birds depending on time of year•We provide wild bird seed for feeding, and apple corn for the deer 🦌to allow the full nature experience! You may also be greeted by our resident chickens! 🐓 🏀 The Cozy Oak has access to its own private game shed we refer to as “The Game Barn” where many outdoor games including basketball, Pickleball, whiffle ball, ladder toss, bocce ball, croquet and more can be found. Basketball court (shared with owners family) is across the driveway from the cottage. 🌳The Cozy Oak Cottage has one cozy bedroom downstairs and a sleeping loft upstairs. It is meticulously cared for and is a great place to get away for some relaxation while still affording all of the modern amenities you may want. ☕️There is a private area amongst some trees that offers a picnic table, lighting and a table/chairs for sitting and enjoying your morning coffee, lunch or dinner. We have our cottage regularly and professionally treated for insects but we are in their habitat and they occasionally make an appearance. We have another Airbnb, privately tucked 200 yards away, behind the main farmhouse called The Red Barn Inn.
