The space The Blue Crane Suite, an airy and comfortable air-conditioned unit, is conveniently situated near the farm's entrance within our converted school accommodation. Its horseshoe layout not only invites wildlife into the area but also ensures a serene evening experience with privacy, as it is one of just four units. Spanning 54 square meters, the unit includes an en-suite bathroom equipped with both a shower and bathtub. For added convenience, in-room tea and coffee facilities are provided for the duration of your stay, including a compact bar fridge. Guests can enjoy the added benefits of complimentary satellite TV and Wi-Fi. For dining, a shared kitchen space is available, along with a dining area. Meals can be arranged in advance of your stay, upon request. Fountain Hill spans over 2,200 hectares and is a multifaceted estate encompassing a Sugarcane Plantation, Avocado Orchards, a Nursery, and a vast conservation area. This conservation zone is bustling with wildlife, including hundreds of game and bird species. Giraffe, Blesbok, Zebra, Wildebeest, Kudu, Impala, Nyala, Duiker, Eland and many more.. Guest access Visitors are welcome to explore designated sections of the farm. This encompasses self-guided safari drives, as well as the opportunity to stroll along the farm's gorge and river areas, which are interlaced with an extensive array of walking paths. For cycling enthusiasts, numerous tracks are available. Additionally, guests can enjoy fishing in any of the three dams on the property (please refrain from using live bait). Adventure-seekers can take advantage of various 4x4 trails. The farm also features a private chapel suitable for weddings and other ceremonies, and the Green Hill Biodiversity Centre can be utilized for various events. Other things to note Fountain Hill is a working farm. Some areas of the farm are not accessible to guests.
