Chalet “Tournesol Neigeux” is a beautifully presented (recently refurbished) 4 bedroom / 9 person chalet, located in the highly sought-after picturesque area of Petit Chatel in the heart of Chatel, in the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps. The chalet is only a 3min drive or 20min walk from the centre of Chatel & offers an ideal opportunity to enjoy the mountains both on foot & by bike. There’s a free bus service only 50m from the chalet, running throughout the Winter & Summer seasons. The space The chalet benefits from peaceful surroundings and beautiful south facing views, which can be enjoyed from inside the living & dining area via the large windows and from the large first floor & upper floor balconies. The ground floor comprises a garage (useful for storing bikes, equipment etc.), a large double bedroom and separate shower room/WC. The first floor has a large open plan kitchen/dining/living room and shower room/WC. The well equipped kitchen has a Bosch induction cooker, integrated microwave, family fridge freezer and a dishwasher. The upper floor has a further 3 double bedrooms and separate family bathroom with bath, shower and WC. One of the 3 bedrooms is perfect for children, with a bunk bed and separate single bed. All of the 3 double bedrooms have super king double beds, which are made up of two twin beds, that offer flexible sleeping arrangements. In total the chalet can accommodate 9 people. It has underfloor heating (1st floor), electric heaters in the bedrooms, log fire in the lounge, BBQ and outside seating/dining. There is ample space for 2 cars. There is WIFI, TV, DVD player, plus washing machine and tumble-dryer. For babies/toddlers, a highchair and travel cot are also available. Linen and towels are included. Guest access You will have access to the entire chalet Other things to note Local facilities: Châtel benefits from several local grocery stores, a larger Intermarché supermarket, many local independent shops, a weekly local market, plenty of bars & restaurants with takeaway options, swimming pool with both indoor & outdoor pools and a spa (offering various aqua and gym classes), an independent gym offering exercise facilities & classes, an indoor adventure play centre (up to 12yo), as well as a cinema and bowling. Catering options: The chalet is self-catered but we can recommend a tried and tested independent caterer who can come to the chalet and provide a wide range of catering options.
