The space Villa Simera is a beautifully renovated residence nestled in the peaceful Fournados hills, just 4 km from Kissamos and a short drive from some of Crete’s most famous beaches. Designed to capture the essence of the present moment—Simera means “Today” in Greek—this villa offers breathtaking views of the sea, olive groves, and rugged hills, ensuring a relaxing and quiet escape and unforgettable stay. This villa is ideal for those seeking serene, peaceful retreat, ideally located for exploring western Crete. Falassarna Beach is just a 15-minute drive away, while Kissamos, with its supermarkets, bakeries, fresh markets, and waterfront restaurants, is only 10 minutes away. The picturesque Venetian Harbor of Chania is within a 50-minute drive, perfect for an evening stroll. Nearby, you can also take a boat to the famous Balos Beach or enjoy traditional Cretan cuisine at highly-rated local tavernas such as Erofili and Gramvousa. Villa Simera offers a stylish and functional space, accommodating up to 8 guests. The main floor features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, seamlessly connected to an outdoor kitchen and dining space under a pergola. There is also a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a WC, and a laundry room. Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms—one with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom, and another with two single beds and a separate full bathroom with a bathtub. A charming attic space with two additional single beds provides a cozy retreat, ideal for children or extra guests. The outdoor area is designed for ultimate relaxation, featuring a 37m² heated saltwater infinity pool, an outdoor shower, sun loungers, and a barbecue kitchen with dining space for 8 guests. Unique villa amenities include a gas-powered stove and oven, a wood-burning fireplace for cooler nights and a Concept2 rowing machine for fitness enthusiasts. Guests are also welcome to use fresh herbs from the garden to enhance their meals. Please note that the last 200m to the villa is a dirt road, requiring slow driving. Pool heating is available upon request with a surcharge of €100 per week. Guest access Guests can choose one of two options for check-in: - meet with our local host, who will greet you, explain the operating house details and ensure you are settled quickly to enjoy your stay - self-check-in (lock box details with detailed instruction on house location will be provided directly to you) The guests have unconstrained access to the whole property. If the guest wishes to use the heating setting for the pool, it has a weekly cost of 100€ and must be requested in advance.
