Stay in one of the outbuildings of the Château de la Thibaudière Bois Savary dating from 1490, the former home of the beautiful sister of Louis de Funès, where he came to relax. Welcome to one of the outbuildings of the prestigious Château de la Thibaudière Bois Savary, former home of Louis de Funès' sister-in-law, where the famous actor liked to come and relax. This place full of history opens its doors to you for a timeless family getaway, in a setting as noble as it is green. Nestled within a lush, enclosed 20-hectare park, the estate is populated by adorable animals – sheep, donkeys, geese, pigs and dogs – that will delight young and old. A real little country kingdom where nature is queen. You will enjoy a wide range of activities worthy of a princely estate: private pond with boat, tennis and basketball courts, billiards, ping-pong, swimming pool, gym, sauna, foosball, and even an indoor barbecue (to be shared with the owners and another gîte, €10/person for the use of the pool and spa). The cozy and warm cottage has an upstairs bedroom with a double bed. Possibility of 2 extra beds on the sofa bed. A bathroom with shower, as well as a fully equipped kitchen (kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator...) guarantee you a comfortable stay. Bed linen is provided for your peace of mind. The owners will be happy to prepare a hearty breakfast with fresh and local products (on request and at a price of €12/pers). You will also find a charging station for electric cars.
