A calm, private room with a sea view in our Sea Point home. You’ll be staying in a shared townhouse with us (the hosts) and our friendly dog—no other guests. You’ll have your own private bedroom and private bathroom. Enjoy AirCon, fast 300Mbps Wi-Fi, and no load-shedding interruptions (backup power). Parking available. Minutes to the Promenade, restaurants, Clifton/Camps Bay, the V&A Waterfront, and the City Centre—prime Atlantic Seaboard base. The space --Private Room in a Shared Sea Point Townhouse (Hosts + Dog on-site)-- Welcome to our peaceful, spacious home on the Atlantic Seaboard. The townhouse has beautiful views of both the city line and the sea, and an unusually quiet, elevated Sea Point location close to the Promenade, restaurants, Clifton/Camps Bay, the V&A Waterfront and the City Centre. --The Home (shared)-- This is our full-time, 3-bedroom (~200sqm) townhouse, where my boyfriend and I live. You’ll be sharing the home’s common areas with us. The home features a large balcony, open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen, a scullery with washing machine + dishwasher, and a small back courtyard. --Your Room (private)-- You’ll have a private, front-facing bedroom upstairs with a comfortable queen bed, air conditioning, ample cupboard space, and a sea view. You’ll also have exclusive use of your own private bathroom just across the upstairs landing (about 3 metres away). --Work From Home (WFH)-- Many guests enjoy working from the dining table (spacious, with a sea view). If you need a private work area, I can often make my home office available during your stay (I have a hybrid office/WFH setup—please ask in advance). --Fast Wi-Fi-- Reliable 300Mbps internet with strong coverage throughout the home. Let me know your WFH needs and I’ll do my best to accommodate. --Comfort & Amenities-- The home is well-furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware, appliances, and everyday cooking essentials. There’s an 8-seater dining table, comfortable lounge seating, a 77” OLED TV, Apple TV + HomePods, and a balcony with outdoor lounge + dining. Laundry and basic cleaning/ironing supplies are available. A Weber charcoal braai is available on request. --About Us-- This is our full-time home, shared with my boyfriend Dan and our well-trained dog Cody. We’re quiet, respectful working professionals. There are no other guests—only you will be hosted during your stay. Guest access Guests will have access to their own private room and private bathroom, and share the large kitchen, scullery, dining area, lounge, and balcony. There is off street parking available in front of my unit if you have a vehicle. During your stay I'd be happy to offer advice and recommendations for restaurants and local tourist activities. Other things to note --Solar System-- I have a full solar system installed with a 15Kwh battery and 5kva inverter. This is sufficient to keep the house fully online during the very common power outages in South Africa, however it is possible to overload the inverter if too many high power-draw appliances are on at the same time (for example AirCon + Oven + Iron). --House Cleaning on Tuesdays-- I have a regular house keeper who comes to clean my place every Tuesday. He is gentle, polite, and very trustworthy. If your stay happens over a Tuesday, please expect his presence during the day while he cleans the house, and please treat him with kindness and respect. If you do not want him entering your room during your stay, please let me know and I will pass on the request.
