The perfect place for R&R if you're looking for something different❤️ Set in dramatic landscape, perfect for walkers and those looking for a romantic getaway, our hut guarantees peace. The hut is at the top of our land and secluded for privacy. You have unrivalled views sweeping down the valley from the front door. Easily accessed from the Coast to Coast & Cleveland Way trails. En suite bathroom facilities, log burner & solid oak kitchenette provide all you need to get away from everyday life! The space Traditional style built Shepherds hut which is functional and compact. there is a double bed at one end, kitchenette which compromises of a two ring gas cooker, worktop, microwave & fridge for you to store your self catering items. Breakfast items which we provide are also in here! (milk, apple juice, butter, jams and bread) There is a shower and toilet off the main room making it en suite avoiding a trek outside like many other shepherds huts! Outdoor furniture is just by the hut for you to use if you like. The space is cosy, even in wintertime-the log burner is very efficient. Our hut is uniquely decorated with local artists work on the walls. It is the only hut on site, so the views which sweep down the Dale are yours and yours alone, no interruptions. Wifi is not connected in the hut so this really is a space of rest and relaxation. We are within the Dark Skies Reserve and the Northern Lights have been seen from the hut by guests. During the colder months, hot water bottles, extra blankets and extra kindling for the fire is standard. But please understand that you need to dress yourselves appropriately for your break! Guest access The hut is enclosed by a reed screen fence this is your space whilst you stay, there is access past the end of our own property, but it is access only. there is also an allocated car park for guests on the edge of the driveway and signposted, please take care to use this space and not another so no one gets blocked in, including you! Other things to note We live in a tranquil area, which surrounding farms operate from and local shoots, no disruptive behavior and loud noise shall be tolerated. In colder weather please allow time to travel here as we are so high up we often have frost/ice were lower areas do not.
