Studio-Terrace, Train Station and Canal, ideal for bikes

Our peaceful studio awaits you for a break in Carcassonne. Functional, relaxing, you are 2 steps from the station and the city center, facing the Canal du Midi (perfect departure for beautiful walks by bike or barge!). The medieval city is reached in 20/30 minutes on foot (depending on your strolls in the center😊) or by bus a little faster (all stops in front of the station). The space 1 studio of about 25 m² with kitchen and access to a terrace to eat outside 😎 It is on the ground floor of our house where we live, but there are 2 separate entrances: so you will be totally independent. We can cross because our bikes are in the same entrance room as the studio. Upon arrival you will find: - towels + glove - fresh water in the fridge (always good after a trip 🥵) - bed made - coffee and decaf pods, tea, herbal teas: it’s for you 😊 - in winter the heating is switched on - in summer, a fan (no, there is no air conditioning) And then things at your disposal to use at leisure during your stay and then put back in place for travelers who will come after you: - city documentation (plans, booklets, etc.). - books beside the bed. Especially books of tales or travels 🤠 - games: a chess board, a game of go, a mini-solitaire… (no, there is no TV) To sleep: a double sofa bed BZ, rather comfortable 😴😴 By default it is in bed mode, because that is how it serves the most. To put it in the sofa, it is necessary to lift by hand on the side (like a BZ). To eat: - 1 kitchen area with 4 electric burners, 1 oven, Senseo coffee maker, toaster, teapot - 1 small saucepan, 1 large, 1 pan, 1 colander, 1 salad basket - all the necessary dishes and useful utensils. If you are missing accessories, you tell us 😊 For washing: 1 bathroom with large shower, towel dryer, sink, hair dryer, and toilet too. To take the air or to smoke: a terrace with our planters, which overlooks a dead end down below. 😎 Facing east, in summer in the morning, it is very (very) hot 🥵 but in the evening, it is very pleasant! Well, you have an overview of our beautiful studio 😊. We are always available before and during your stay, at least by messages or in person if we are home. Guest access The whole studio and its terrace are yours! Arrival time is 4pm by default. But sometimes it's possible for it to be earlier, if there's no one there before. Don't hesitate to ask us if you need, we'll let you know. For the departure time, we've set 12h by default, but here again, depending on the day, it may be possible to shift it. Same thing: ask us. Other things to note Cleaning is included in the price, but it would be a good idea to leave the flat clean when you leave (bins emptied in particular, nothing dirty lying around).
