Pulchella Cabin is designed to provide everything you need for a luxurious retreat. Strategically placed for all that the beautiful Tasman Peninsula has to offer. A new build with a warm minimalist interior nestled in the forest, our cosy cabin is a place to relax in nature and enjoy the peace of the surroundings. Featuring: Designer kitchen/bathrooms Undercover outdoor dining with heaters Wrap-around sun deck Outdoor shower Indoor bath with bushland views Games, books & TV Woodheater Air con The space The sun drenched cabin is set on 3 acres of land for you to enjoy. Featuring a designer kitchen and bathrooms, and cosy bedrooms with beautiful linens. Located on a no through road to Roaring Beach it is a quiet place to relax and observe nature. Roaring Beach is a surfing beach but also great for walking and beach combing. It is a 10 minute drive from the cabin. Nubeena, is a 7 minute drive and has amenities such as a café and small supermarket. The popular Port Arthur Historic Site, Remarkable Caves , Fortescue Bay National Park and the Three Capes walks are a 20-25 minute drive. If you don’t feel like exploring everything the Peninsula has to offer, kick back and watch the sunset from the deck, have a long bath with bushland views, or relax by the wood heater with a book in the lounge. There is a wraparound deck for sun from midday and a deck off the master bedroom for morning sun. There is excellent stargazing on clear nights so be sure to take advantage of this. The outdoor fire pit won’t be available in summer months due to bushfire risk. We stock a basic pantry for guests which includes, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, spices & olive oil. Please pop into a shop on your way for supplies and milk if you take it. There are local small grocers in Nubeena for basic supplies, but for larger supermarkets the closest is in Sorell on the way from Hobart. There are plenty of native animals to watch outside the large windows or even board games within the cabin to keep to entertained. We also have a TV and good Wi-Fi, however the live TV reception is somewhat limited. Guest access The entire property is available for guests to enjoy. The shipping container and green shed (our old shack!) will be locked. Other things to note Please kindly note, Pulchella is not suitable for children or pets due to the delicate nature of its furnishings. If you have booked for two guests but require use of the second bedroom it will incur a $40 cleaning fee. Please advise in advance so we can organise this with our housekeeper.
