Gwenyn Cottage-Riverside Escape

Gwenyn Cottage is a big favourite for our guests. Gwenyn nestles in the peace and tranquillity of the undiscovered Lynher valley. Approached via the quiet Cornish country roads, this superbly equipped cottage has been created for those who really want to escape from it all. The space Gwenyn cottage sleeps up to 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom all with deep comfy mattresses. Each bedroom has its own TV to go with your relaxing morning cuppa. There is of course another TV in the Lounge area. Your kitchen area is fully equipped including the essential dishwasher, dining and lounge area with a wood burning stove for your added comfort. You can enjoy the relaxing views and tranquillity that Gwenyn cottage offers from your private patio with uninterrupted views by the mill stream running alongside to the fields and River Lynher beyond. Looking upstream you will see Sharp Tor on the beautiful Bodmin Moor, the Moor being only a few minutes drive away. Please note Gwenyn does not have facilities (cot, high chair, etc.) for infants. Guest access Our guests have complete access to the fields, footpaths, river, streams and woodlands of Berrio Mill. Our Honey from our bees at Berrio is available and makes a perfect gift for friends and family. Guests are also free to fish (local permit required) for salmon, sea trout and brown trout along our 600 yard river bank or just take a picnic and let the herons, kingfishers or even otters do the fishing for you. Other things to note We provide a bbq for your use but charcoal is not provided. You will need to bring your own.
