Sunny, cozy room in Central Brooklyn

Experience all of Flatbush Brooklyn's charm with this private room in a historic 1899 house with original tin ceilings shared by the host. This abode ensures a comfortable stay in one of Brooklyn's best neighborhoods with restaurants, shops and the historic King's Theater nearby. Please note that there are stairs to the porch and the room is on the second floor. Room includes wifi, A/C unit, closet, writing desk, queen-sized bed and a guide to the neighborhood and New York City. The space This is a house shared with the host and there is one other room that is listed on Airbnb, so there may be other guests. There is a common room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom that is all shared. There is also a backyard with a fire pit, table and chairs that is also shared with the host and other guests. Please note that two cats live in the house. They are skittish and will not likely be out. Bu if you have allergies to cats, please be aware of them. we do our best to filter the air and clean before any guest arrives. The house is an 8 minute walk to the 2/5 trains and the Q train. You're a mere 10 stops from Times Square, 5 stops from the Barclay's Center where the Brooklyn Nets play, and a couple stops or a short walk from Prospect Park . The neighborhoods of Flatbush and Ditmas Park offer many great restaurants, coffee shops and even a small farmer's market on Sundays. The historic King's Theater is just one block away. Guest access You are welcome to use any of the common spaces, including cooking in the kitchen, kitchen appliances, dining room and eating utensils and the TV. We have a Roku with Netflix, Max, Hulu and other amenities. You can also use the backyard, but please tell the host if you want to use the fire pit. If it is very windy or very dry, I might not permit its use. Guests do not have access to food in the pantry and do not have access to the basement.
