Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway with deep-water views over Lake Murray with sunrises over the front water and sunsets over the back. This home is a modest and cozy 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home on almost an acre lot with BIG water views. The home is 2400 s.f. and has a very large family room and open kitchen perfect for hosting bigger groups. King bed in master with add'l pull out couch. Queen in bedroom 2 and bunk beds with trundle in room 3. Wifi. 75" TV and Laundry. The space This home is fully furnished and you need only bring your care-free attitudes and whatever foods you plan to eat. There are towels/linens/extra pillows/soaps/shampoos/all basic condiments/coffee bar, etc. The goal was to make this seamless as a retreat for others to enjoy Lake Murray! Wind: This home is out on a causeway with very little barriers from the wind. So, on a windy day, this house will experience very strong winds. Please safeguard your personal items that you might want to leave outside. (It is common to find outdoor seat cushions that fly off and can later be found in the lake). Kitchen: The kitchen has a standard size kitchen table seating 6 but there's also an island that can accommodate 1 more. The kitchen has all regular appliances including a wine/beverage chiller which should be moderately stocked upon your arrival. Great Room: There is a large 30 ft by 35 ft great room that has a long dining room style table on one end just a few feet away from the kitchen, perfect for letting adults eat at the more formal table while kids eat in the eat-in kitchen. On the other side of the Great Room is a couch and love seat with 2 separate chairs perfect for playing games or sitting and relaxing. In the back, there's a shuffleboard table. Atop the fireplace mantle, there's a 75" new Sony TV with a full YouTube TV subscription. (There is wireless internet with 350mb/s fiber up and down). Master Bedroom: The master bedroom is oversized and has a King bed as well as a pull out sofa in another corner of the room. Bedroom 2: There is a Full Size or Double bed in bedroom 2. Bedroom 3: There is a bunk bed with a pull out trundle feature as well as a twin bed. This can sleep 4 kids or full size children. Bathrooms: The Master bedroom has its own bathroom with large walk-in closet. The bathroom features a double-vanity sink and a walk-in shower with separate tub (NOTE: Tub is really never used as most always just shower) Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a Full Size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is a half-bathroom down the hallway from Bedrooms 2 and 3. Laundry: There is a full size laundry room with brand new (in 2024) washer and dryer. Garage: The garage holds 2 12ft Kayaks and life vests as well as a few fishing rods and a basic tackle box. If you are an avid fisher, you will likely want to bring your own gear; however, the novice should be able catch a bass off the dock in the backyard. Back Deck: There are two great features here for outdoor cooking. There is a new 36" Weber propane grill. There is also a 36" Blackstone. Both are covered and have all necessary appurtenances in the shelving/storage. Please ensure the grills are property closed/secured and propane turned off with valves closed AND with covers returned and securely tightened. See the note about wind in the home guide. Guest access There is an electronic code lock on the front door. This is the primary means of locked entry into the home. The code is provided upon securing a reservation. Other things to note The home is on a septic system. It’s been well maintained and routinely inspected; however, please note that only toilet paper should be flushed down any of the toilets and refrain from pouring any grease down kitchen sink drains. When you turn down the main road that this house is on, please watch your speed. There are several families of deer that are almost "quasi-tame" and you are almost guaranteed to see some up and down the road, so please be mindful when driving within a mile or so of the home. This home is pet-friendly. A strong high-grade luxury vinyl plank (LVP) was installed in 2024 with the intent of allowing guests to bring pets. Should pets make a mess or scratch floors, these floors can be easily cleaned and should be very scratch resistant. There are several rugs and should a pet make a mess on those rugs, we have cleaning supplies on site, but expect guests to fully clean up any pet mess.
