Recently renovated in terms of furnishings and design, it is cosy and modern while retaining typical Tuscan elements of the period such as the original high ceilings, beams and bricks. As you go up the two flights of historic stairs, which still preserve the original architecture and workmanship of the period, as soon as you enter the flat you will be welcomed into the large open space with an open KITCHEN complete with energy-saving appliances, DINING ROOM overlooking the walls of the historic centre and the spacious LIVING ROOM with a comfortable sofa and a designer lamp, where you can relax reading a good book or sipping a glass of wine. The BATHROOM is bright, thanks to the skylight, and has a large shower. The BEDROOM, which is very spacious, bright and quiet because it does not overlook the street, has a lovely TINY BALCONY from which you can admire the hills and the sea, and even catch a glimpse of the Island of Elba. You will be able to arrive DIRECTLY UNDER THE HOUSE WITH YOUR CAR with the possibility of parking it in the street, just long enough to unload your luggage and check in. Afterwards, you can park your car in one of the NEARBY PARKING LOTS. The HISTORICAL CENTRE with its magnificent Cathedral of San Cerbone is a 1-minute walk from the house. Despite its proximity to the centre with its restaurants, bars, wine bars and shops, the flat is quiet and peaceful. Other things to note The kitchen at Casa PàMa is unique: - A REFRIGERATED WINE CELLAR that can hold up to 6 bottles and - FREE DRINKING WATER: the kitchen tap is fitted with a dual spout for further-filtered drinking water – a convenient and environmentally friendly solution. You’ll find a few glass bottles provided. The flat is AIR-CONDITIONED with a smart home system that ensures efficient use and energy savings (it operates with the windows closed, switches off when no one is at home, and has temperature limits set 24/27°) and is equipped with ALL THE ESSENTIALS: - towels and bed linen, - kitchen kit (washing-up liquid and sponge, 2 dishwasher tablets, oil, salt, dustpan and brush, recycling bins with bags); - hairdryer, hand soap and shower gel, shower mat.
