Have the entire upstairs to yourself in a newly renovated historic house, centrally located in Madison! The upstairs has a kitchenette, a living room with TV, 2 large bedrooms with queen beds in each, a large bathroom w/ clawfoot bathtub, dining area/wine bar. Our house is in a quiet neighborhood close to everything, within 5min walk to Lake Monona, Mendota, parks, trails, beach, coffee shop and 10 mins walk to the Alliant Energy Center, 5min drive to downtown capitol, Monona Terrace. The space ZTRHP1-2024-00013 This is a completely renovated two-story house full of sun. It has the guest living space upstairs and the owner's living space downstairs, separated by their own private entrances. Step outside the house, you have access to everything within walking distance! Within 5 min walk, you can visit Madison's most popular Lake Side St. Coffee House looking out on Lake Monona. John Nolan drive is a nice walk crossing Lake Monona, facing downtown Capitol. Goodman community pool is right across the street with tennis/basket courts and is right next to Madison's #1 bike trail, Monona Loop Trail. You follow the trail for 10min and you will hit lake Mendota and Olin park. It's about a 10mins walk to Alliant Energy Center. Within 5min drive, you can reach Monona Terrace, Downtown, Capitol, Hospitals (Meriter and St. Mary's), and many restaurants. UW/VA/children's hospitals and campus are also within 10min drive. Our house has a unique, old-fashioned style. The entryway is somewhat narrow, and the staircase to the second floor is a bit steep. Whether your purpose of visit is family, business, events, or just enjoying Madison, this is a perfect place to experience a life in Madison like locals. Guest access You have two bedrooms, a living space, bathroom, and kitchenette upstairs all by yourself. Owner's living space is downstairs and kept closed. Owner is away during most of the daytime. To respect each other's privacy. You'll use the front entrance exclusively and the owner will use the backdoor during your stay. Other things to note There are ample free parking space outside. Even a couple of semi-trucks can fit comfortably. Parking is restricted on the road in front of my house on Mondays from 10:30a.m. to 2:00p.m. On the opposite side of the road, parking is restricted on Tuesdays during the same hours. The thermostat is in the TV stand. Feel free to adjust it to whatever temperature is comfortable for you. To maintain a clean and comfortable environment, we steam- clean the hardwood floors after each guest's stay. Kindly remove your shoes before going upstairs. Thank you for your cooperation!
