Here you will be able to drink your morning coffee with a fantastic view over Lake Hammervatnet, enjoy a delicious meal from our own farm shop on the fire pit, end the evening with a refreshing bath in the stomp on the terrace and sleep in beds with high comfort. Get the feeling of being “out in nature,” without having to give up on the comfort you're used to. Our luxurious gapahuk is more than a place to sleep - it's an experience in itself. The gap will be completely ready on June 1, 2024. Welcome! The space The gapahuken is built of massive logs, where much of the wood is sourced from its own forest. One side of the cabin is covered by a mountain, a visual experience that brings the wonders of nature right into the living room and bedroom. The gap is spacious enough to house 7 guests. The cottage has as of today, no running water and electricity. It gets power from a solar system, the kitchen is well equipped and it has a pacto toilet indoors. There is also underfloor heating and a wood-burning oven for warmth and warm atmosphere. The area around the gap offers a variety of activities including fishing, canoeing/kayaking, swimming, and barbecuing. You can also greet the animals on the farm for an extra dose of country life. In addition, the gap is just outside the Hammervatnet Nature Reserve, which is widely known for its rich bird life, making it a perfect place for bird watching. Despite its remote location, the gap is remarkably accessible. Located close to public transport and airport, it is only a short distance from Trondheim. This makes it a perfect stopover on the way north or south along the E6.
