Casa Martillo Condo unit 5 is in a residential area four blocks from the water, nine blocks south of the main plaza, and close to two super market, nightlife, parks, and the airport. You’ll love the cleanliness, complete kitchen, daily maid service, location, beautiful design, maintenance, and peaceful ambiance. The space Casa Martillo was designed and built by me based on what I like for a vacation rental when I travel. The condo is a three - level townhouse style, like many condos in the U.S. The lower level has a living room and complete kitchen with full-sized appliances with all utensils for preparing meals. There is a sit-down dining bar between the living area and kitchen that seats four. There is a balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard with a dining table for romantic dinners for two. The upstairs has a large bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom with large tile shower. The sofa in the living room converts into a bed. We use commercial grade keypad electronic door lock system and there is a security safe in the master bedroom. Casa Martillo provides high-quality hotel towels and pool towels for guest use. We also provide free high speed WiFi internet service for your laptop. There is a dive equipment rinse tank and storage area in the laundry room, with free use of the washer and dryer. Casa Martillo and Cozumel are safe places to stay and visit. My family, friends and guests have been coming here for over 16 years and we always feel completely safe walking day or night. Guest access Casa Martillo is a six unit condo complex with a shared pool and courtyard between the two buildings. Guests have exclusive use of the condo and shared use of the pool, courtyard, and outdoor eating and barbecue area. With only six units, shared use of the pool is not a problem and it offers the opportunity to meet other guests from around the world. Other things to note Electricity is very expensive on Cozumel and the cost of air-conditioning is often $10 per day. It is very important to close all windows and doors when the air-conditioner is on to keep the warm air outside. And set the thermostat at a reasonable temperature that is comfortable, but not frigid. Some guest really like the high quality towels and take them home with them. There is a $10 charge for each towel taken.
