Other things to note There are plenty of pubs within a short drive of Daffodil Cottage. The Bull, Hinton A good cheap (ish) local. Perfect for a quick pint and a snack and the closest pub to the cottage. The Cross House, Doyton Great food, essential to book ahead as it is full most weekends. The Cat and Custard, Shipton Moyne Great food, lovely Sunday roast and a pizza restaurant. This is the perfect pub if you want to explore Westonbirt Arboritum, Tetbury and the Cotswolds. The Chequers, Bath Quite possibly the best Sunday roast ever! Easy to stroll into Bath after and walk it off. The Hare and Hounds, Bath A lovely pub on the outskirts of Bath with a great view and lovely garden. The Marlborough Arms, Bath Sister pub to the Hare and Hounds but in central Bath, so perfect for a break after walking around the town. The Pump House, Bristol Great pub for a pit stop when exploring Bristol.
