The exposed beamed walls and inglenook fireplace with a wood burner add warmth and character to the space. A hallway/music room sits between the kitchen and dining room with seating and up right piano for entertaining. This area of the house is bathed in light from the ceiling above. The walls reveal the original features of the medieval Weald Hall house. LIVING ROOM: A light-filled room with views of the grounds, fitted with sofas, a wood burner, and a Smart TV for cozy evenings. KITCHEN/LOUNGE: Designed for socialising, the kitchen has a large island with breakfast bar, Aga, electric oven, fridge/freezer. 2 sofas and 2 armchairs provide sociable seating with views across the gardens. French doors lead out to the patio, ideal for al fresco dining. STUDY: A private space for calls or work, with Wi-Fi and library access. SNUG: A cozy room with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a log burner. *BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS* BEDROOM 1: (Sleeps 2) - King-size bed, sofa, and wardrobe. BEDROOM 2: (Sleeps 3) Chest of drawers, and wardrobe - Twin room - 2 x single beds, - OR Super King-size bed (one of the twins has a pull out single trundle bed, to sleep 3 guests in this room.) ** PLEASE ADVISE WHICH SET UP YOU REQUIRE ON BOOKING ** BEDROOM 3: (Sleeps 2) King-size bed, en-suite with walk-in shower and toilet. BEDROOM 4: (Sleeps 2) King-size bed, en-suite with shower over the bath, dressing table, and wardrobe. BEDROOM 5: (Sleeps 2) Open library with double sofa bed, offering additional sleeping space if required. There are oak folding doors to provide privacy. MAIN BATHROOM: Features a bath, shower cubicle, and toilet, with French doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the gardens. **Please note there are 2 rooms closed off to guests on the landing, these are the owner's rooms.** THE ANNEXE: Sleeps 2 guests A separate private building next door with its own kitchenette, shower room, and upstairs is a large lounge area with TV and a super king-size bed. OUTDOOR SPACES GARDENS: Set in 3 acres, with manicured lawns, blooming flowers, and mature trees. A large patio with seating area with fire pit at one end and dining table and chairs and gas BBQ at the other. HOT TUB: Take a relaxing soak in the Lazy Spa, located within the wooden green house set amongst the garden Available in the summer months (May-Sept). Large enough for 3-4 people. A vegetable patch with seating make it an ideal area for relaxing or socialising. PARKING: Plenty of space for multiple cars, with a circular driveway and additional parking at the rear. ENTERTAINMENT BARN & GYM Tucked away within the grounds of the property, the converted barn has been transformed into a spacious Games Room, Table Tennis area and private Gym, perfect for groups and families. This historic home has been thoughtfully updated to provide modern comforts while retaining its traditional character and evidence of the original Wealden Hall within at its centre, making it an ideal spot for a memorable getaway. Guest access The main house, gardens and green house are available to guests. Unavailable are: The garages and the large barn building. The Annexe located above garage unless reserved and paid for at the time of booking. Other things to note There is a large open pond in the grounds with steep sloping sides, for safety reasons we only welcome children over the age of 8 years and strongly recommend that they are supervised by adults at all times.
