The space Welcome to our Cozy Cabin on Lake Martin! This updated property in a quiet cove on the north end of the lake is the perfect home away from home. Calm water, a lakeside hammock, and a private boat ramp mean that this is the place to be for swimming, fishing, boating, recreation, and more. It’s such a peaceful place, you won’t believe that you are half a mile off 280, 10 minutes from restaurants/amenities in Alexander City, and only 35 minutes from Auburn! Plus, you are 10 minutes from River North Marina by boat. The location is just one of MANY outstanding features of this home! Walk through the front door and see that this open floor plan is just what you need to gather with family and friends. The sunroom boasts beautiful views of the lake and access to the large back deck. The fully stocked kitchen features stainless steel appliances, and the dining table is just right for meal time or game time. The living room has plenty of comfy seating, a gas fireplace, and a smart TV for logging in to your favorite streaming channels. High speed wifi will keep you as connected as you want to be! On the main floor, the primary bedroom has a King bed and ensuite bathroom. Check out more amazing lake views through the large window! The two additional main floor bedrooms each have Queen-sized beds, and a full bathroom with a tub shower in the hallway. There is also a daybed in the sunroom. Downstairs is a big room with two bunk beds (twin over double), a single bed, a sofa, a smart TV, a large table and chairs, tons of board games, a second refrigerator, a washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. We welcome our guests with a starter pack of paper towels, toilet paper, soap and shampoo, a dishwasher pod, a laundry pod, and K-cups for the Keurig. Traveling with kids? A Pack n Play and high chair are also available; just let us know. Guest access Guests will have the whole house to themselves! Owners will not be on site during your stay. The kayaks, lily pad, and paddle board are all available to use, plus plenty of beach towels. The firepit is also available for guests. Use the private boat ramp to place your own watercraft in the lake. Other things to note Our neighborhood has mostly full-time residents and is a quiet, peaceful community, so please be respectful during the early morning and evenings in order to not disrupt our nice neighbors. Please bear this in mind when considering our cabin for your stay. **BE ADVISED the water level drops at the beginning of September and will be completely lowered by November. Refilling begins March 1 and full pool is reached by the end of April. Please note this when booking during these months. The cove does have water in the winter, but the level is significantly lower. **
