Discover our villa a 5-minute walk from the city center, next to the iconic Villa Bleue. This house, passed down in our family for 5 generations, offers stunning views of the Chapeau de Gendarme, in a warm and authentic setting for your stay. Enjoy the large garden with its space under the chestnut trees for pleasant meals. We provide facilities for children. The space The house is spacious and offers beautiful volumes to feel good even with many people. On the ground floor, you will find two entrances (north and south), as well as a large living room, a dining room with a large table for 10-12 people. The rooms are spacious and have very pleasant views. On the first floor, bedroom 1 communicates with the toilet and bathtub on one side and with its private bathroom (sink and bidet). Bedroom 2 also has its own private bathroom (sink and bidet). These two bedrooms have a large balcony. Bedroom 3 has a sink in the room. A shower with access from the landing is also present on the first floor in addition to the bathtub communicating with bedroom 1. The 2nd floor was renovated in 2025. It has: 1 bedroom with a sink and 1 double bed (possibility to request single bed 90 x 200 or double bed 160 x 200). 1 Bedroom with 2 single beds (no sink) 1 bedroom with a double bed of 180 cm and a child's bed with bars of 70 x 140 cm as well as a sink (possibility to request 2 single beds of 90 x 200 cm instead of the double bed to make a child's dormitory). 1 bathroom with bathtub 1 separate toilet Since the house is from 1896, your sweetness and indulgence will be greatly appreciated. Guest access The accessible rooms are the 2 entrances, living room, dining room, kitchen, ground floor and 1st floor toilets, 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets (bidet and sink) adjoining bedrooms 1 and 2, 1 shower room and bathtub (separate). On the 2nd floor, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Other things to note We provide (upon request): - 2 high chairs - 2 strollers (one cane, an all-terrain of birth with nacelle and up to 15-17kg with sunbed) - 2 70x140 mattresses for children 2 to 4-5 years old - 1 umbrella bed - 1 cododo crib - 1 babybjorn jersey deckchair - toys (lego, kapla, card games from 3 years old, coloring page...) - floor mat for yoga, meditation, fitness You will find in the kitchen: - a filter coffee machine for large quantities - a nespresso coffee machine - a toaster, - oven - Microwave oven - first generation thermomix - fridge and freezer - induction plate (3) Several cars can be parked in the garden, and one of them can have a covered shelter. The proximity is a 5min walk to the city center will allow you to enjoy the restaurants, shops, cinema and large park with children's playground in Barcelonnette. By car, the house is in: 5min from Barcelonnette Municipal Pool (16min walk) 5min from beautiful golf 15min from the multi-activity body of water in Jausiers And many other activities, walks/hikes, tree climbing, equestrian center, canoeing/rafting are available within 15 min drive. It should also be noted that the Mexican festivals that animate the city the first fortnight of August will delight families looking for fun and cultural activities! ‼️DEPOSIT CHECK: We ask that the tenant give us a deposit check against signature of a document provided for this purpose. We return this check on the day of departure if no deterioration is noted. If the inventory is not done the same day, we reserve the right to give you the check within 1 month after the day of departure. If an amount is to be withheld following an incident, an invoice will of course be presented to the tenant to justify the amount withheld and the rest will be returned within 2 months after the day of departure. The amount of the deposit depends on the number of days, the number of people, and whether or not pets are present. It is therefore indicated at the time of the reservation request.
