This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. A beautifully renovated cottage in the heart of Dulverton, a real home from home. Super dog friendly with secure garden. Minutes from the local amenities...pubs, cafes, butcher, Co-Op, deli...to name but a few and of course the fabulous walks and scenery that Exmoor has to offer. Parking for two cars though please note access is via a narrow bridge, not suitable for extra large vehicles! The space Copper Beech Cottage has been recently renovated providing a cosy home from home feel. Decorated to a high standard it exudes the Exmoor country feel. Upon entering the cottage you will step into the sun lounge which is flooded with natural light provided by the south facing garden. Here you can relax with your morning coffee and watch for the resident pheasant! A large cupboard provides space for shoes and boots and houses dog towels which are provided for your use. Walk through to the cosy lounge area with soft leather seating, 55" TV and wood burning stove. Beyond the lounge lies the dining room which provides a lovely dining space for 6. Finally through an archway to the kitchen, laundry area and downstairs WC. Tea and coffee are complementary, as are dishwasher tablets, laundry pods and fabric softener. The cottage sleeps 6, two doubles and a twin. upstairs shower room and WC. Bed linen, towels and toiletries are included. To the back of the cottage is a small courtyard area which is enclosed and has private access to the Leat, perfect for washing and drying wet dogs after a long walk! Dappled summer shade provided by the beautiful Copper Beech tree which overhangs the courtyard, and which the cottage is aptly named after. Guest access Entire cottage with side access to the back courtyard and wood store. PLEASE NOTE neighbouring cottage, no.2 Addlemead, has right of way via this access to their propery which is in the middle. Permission will always be asked for access to avoid any invasion of privacy! Other things to note Please be aware the property is accessed via a narrow bridge. Caution is required, however, it is very accessible to vehicles. For anyone unsure, there is on-road parking directly adjacent (should there be a space) or alternatively, two public car parks within a short walk charging very reasonable rates. Please do advise us upon booking if you have any allergies to fabric softener or room diffusers etc., and we can do our best to accommodate. PLEASE NOTE neighbouring cottage, no.2 Addlemead, has right of way via the side access and courtyard to their propery which is in the middle. Permission will always be sought in advance for access to avoid any invasion of privacy! This would be required on an ad-hoc basis.
