Our charming cosy Hazel Nook is located in beautiful North Norfolk. It is the perfect spot for walkers, bird watching, dog walking, or simply exploring the area and its many amazing beaches. There are lots of places to visit and things to see and do!On arrival, you will find a warm, cosy welcome. Hazel Nook is decorated in its own quirky, rustic style and has everything you will need for your perfect break away. 🍳 The Kitchen & Living Area-Open plan Kitchen: Features all required cooking facilities, including a cooker, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment, and a kettle. Our small, rustic breakfast bar happily seats two. Please note: Due to work surface limitations, extensive cooking is not practical, but Hazel Nook is a great base to go out and try the local cuisine—from the Windmill's fresh bakes to local seafood in Wells-next-the-Sea!The Living Area: A great space to rest and relax after a day out. Enjoy the Smart TV, our selection of reading books, or just let the sunshine in through the stable door. A double sofa bed can comfortably sleep an extra guest if needed (extra bed linen can be supplied—see Further Details).🛏️ Bedroom & Luxury Shower RoomThe Bedroom: A separate, luxury room with a lovely, comfy King-sized bed and beautiful linens. The window overlooks the beautiful countryside, our gardens, and paddocks, where you can occasionally see our small furry friends. If you leave the bedroom window ajar at night, you will hear the owls hooting most nights! It's a great spot for bird watching, with a family of woodpeckers and kites often flying very near.The Shower Room: A separate space featuring a powerful booster shower and a heated towel rail. Two towel sets and a bath mat are supplied with all bookings. 🐾 Pets & Outdoor Space-Your Furry Friends: Dogs are very welcome! Please look under Further Details for all rules and info regarding pets. Outdoor Space: Located right outside the side stable door. This mini courtyard features a bistro set, beautiful rustic styling, and atmospheric twinkle lights. It is a great, private, secure, and cobbled area to sit back and relax with a glass of wine after a long day. 🌌 The Luxury Hot Tub (Optional Add-On)Please note: For full booking details and terms regarding the hot tub, please see our Further Details section.The hot tub is tucked away inside a charming little barn with a hide hatch overlooking the countryside for amazing, views. While relaxing you can see the stars at night surrounded by our very own twinklies lit-up garden area. 📍 Perfectly Located -Walking Distance: The village King's Head pub and the Bircham Stores & Deli are just a 5-minute walk away. The historic Bircham Windmill is a 10-minute walk.Historic Estates: Houghton Hall Estate is an 8-minute drive; The Royal Sandringham Estate is just 10 minutes away.Beaches & Towns: Beautiful Burnham Market is 14 minutes away, Hunstanton is 10 minutes, and Brancaster and Wells-next-the-Sea are both 20 minutes away with amazing, quaint little shops. Eating yummy fish and chips on the quay at Wells-next-the-Sea is a must! Holkham beach and its pine woods are also a local favourite.Enjoy North Norfolk! xx Guest access When arriving at Blueberry Lodge, Hazel Nook is located to the left of the property. When you pull in to the drive, Hazel nook is directly in front you will see little Hazel nooks parking sign. Roses growing under the window . Please park as far to the left hand side of the drive as to not block drive way .(You have private off road parking for one car). The Annex has a private access, which is through the little country gate on the left. You will see your little mini court yard and the Grey stable door . The key safe is to the left of the door. Hot Tub Policy (Optional Add-On)Pricing & Booking: Private barn spa sessions are £40 per 2-hour slot (minimum 2 hours per session). Guests are very welcome to book multiple sessions across their stay!Deadlines: All hot tub requests must be finalized, time slots/ days chosen, and payment accepted( sent via extra services) within 24 hours of making your Airbnb booking. Unconfirmed requests are automatically cancelled after 24 hours. Availability: Available March to October between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM (available out-of-season by prior arrangement, ask at booking). The Experience: We heat and prepare the water specifically for your chosen times, meaning all you have to do is show up, hop in, and relax! Pets Policy -We warmly welcome one small dog (up to 10kg). Please feel free to enquire and provide your dog's breed at the time of booking. The pet fee is £20 per stay (for more than one dog, please enquire first).We feel the annex due to size is not suitable for large dogs. We have our own terriers on the property whom you may spot occasionally! Sofa Bed & Extra Linen If you require extra bedding/linen for the sofa bed during your stay, there is a £15 laundry charge on one night stays. Please message us to arrange this. Privacy & Outdoor Space -Your private area is the mini courtyard with twinklies and cute bistro set. Our main back garden and paddocks are private family areas, though you have lovely countryside views of flowers from your bedroom window. As this is part of our home, we deeply respect your privacy. You may occasionally see us gardening or caring for our animals outside! Local Walks & Nature-Great local walks include the nearby Peddars Way. You may spot deer, geese, ducks, horse's and hares around the village.Brilliant local birdwatching spots nearby include RSPB Titchwell Marsh and Wild Ken Hill in Snettisham.
