The Studio

The Studio is located in a rural setting in the South Downs National Park. The Studio is part of a converted 17C farmhouse in the hamlet of Byworth. Its cosy rooms have a west facing aspect looking out onto its own lawn and garden. 12 minute walk to local pub The Black Horse. It is close to Goodwood horse and motor racing tracks, Arundel Castle and medieval Petworth. A scenic 20 min drive takes you to the city of Chichester. Wittering beaches are 12-15 miles away. The space The Studio is a converted farm building divided into an open plan sitting room/kitchen, bedroom and en suite shower room. French doors open onto a garden area for the exclusive use of guests. Our aim is to provide a light, tasteful , clean and uncluttered living area to cook, eat and relax in. The key to a great stay is also a comfortable mattress, 'restful' decoration and blinds which cut out light for a good nights sleep. All bedlinen is dried on the washing line (weather permitting), aired and ironed. Our quick dry towels are also line dried and tumbled dried finish to give softness. We also like to place fresh flowers and a few drinks and snacks in the cottage to welcome guests. Guest access Our property has two entrances, one pedestrian for taxi drop off etc (next to the post box) and a driveway with a parking space for guests. Access is availble 24 hours a day. Paths and steps are illumintaed at night. However, please take care, as the property has different levels and surfaces, grass, gravel etc. Other things to note Bathroom towels are provided. Property is not suitable for children.
