Le Chalet des Grands-Parents is a typical alpine house located in Ozein, a characteristic mountain village at 1500 meters above sea level where peace, tranquility and nature welcome guests who wish to spend time in a timeless place. From the terrace you can admire the sun gently setting on Mont Blanc or the Ardua Grivola Bella overlooking the central Valley. A large equipped green area, a barbecue, a small vegetable garden and a parking space are available for guests. The space Le Chalet des Grands-Parents is a detached house consisting of a garage and private parking space on the street level while the accommodation occupies the entire first floor, accessible along the pedestrian access driveway. You enter directly into the living area consisting of a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, traditional oven, induction cooktop, kettle, moka coffee maker and American coffee machine. Guests have access to oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, everything you need for cooking and, on request, you can have a high chair or a height-adjustable chair for children. Cozy dining area with direct access to the terrace from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains and the wide valley. Opposite is a small vegetable garden that offers fresh vegetables and herbs in the summer season. To complete the living area, there is a comfortable sofa with a pull-out chaise longue and a flat-screen TV. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, a double in which you can add a low child's bed or a travel bed for younger guests on request and free of charge, while the double bedroom is equipped with two twin beds that can be joined if necessary. The bathroom with shower is equipped with a hairdryer, soap, shower gel and organic shampoo that we buy from a producer in the Valley. You will find the washing machine in the garage where we have set up a small laundry corner. Bed linen and towels are available and included in the reservation. From the living area you can directly access the large green lawn that surrounds the house, equipped with deck chairs and umbrella, where you can relax immersed in the tranquility of the mountains or take advantage of the barbecue available to guests to spend pleasant moments in company! Guest access The Chalet is a detached house located in a large private property entirely at the disposal of guests with a convenient parking space, garage where you can store bicycles or bulky luggage, a beautiful equipped lawn, a small vegetable garden and a barbecue area. Ideal starting point for hiking or biking, it is only 20 km from Cogne, pearl of the Alps in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, 9 km from the center of Aymavilles where there are grocery stores, ATMs, a post office and excellent restaurants and 16 km from Aosta, capital of the region with its center rich in history, culture, tradition and typical gastronomy.
