FACILITIES As part of the Rekreation holiday home, the wellness apartment for private use has its own entrance, a kitchenette (small fridge, mini oven, microwave, 2 hotplates, Cremesso coffee machine & Bialetti, kettle, toaster) and a separate toilet. In the relaxation room there is a flexible couch, a mobile smart TV, an electric fireplace, air conditioning, a record player with considerable record collection and a large dining table with beautiful views. Directly off the room, behind an elegant curtain, is the sleeping alcove with a height of over 5m, a king-size bed and a skylight. The wellness bathroom has a set of 3 rain showers, a 1.5m diameter round tub with a seating window behind it, a minifridge and a hammam lounger with 3 powder train jets - the room can be opened on two sides to the outside and includes access to the wood-burning sauna with also two-sided views. The sauna is equipped with a 1.4m wide pair lounger with movable lounging elements, a 'sweat box' and a rollable hammock lounger, as well as access to wood storage, birch alley and creek for kneading. The private terrace with an uninterrupted panoramic view of Pöllauberg and the meadows offers a chairlift swing, a large sun lounger, lounge furniture, a small dining set and a barbecue. THE HOUSE & SURROUNDINGS The wellness apartment is part of the recreation cottage with a total of 3 units, with the ZEN & HEAT being available for completely private use and, due to the secluded location and structural arrangement, a hidden retreat in the middle of nature. The building is part of an old farm area that also offers a playground, a fire pit with seating and a pool in summer, but remains separated from any neighborhood. In a sheltered location and in a sunken landscape, the complex gives the feeling of a rural resort, but the outdoor area is rustic and authentic in its rural origins. The cottage is surrounded by around 1 ha of green space from meadow, field, stream, floodplain and a small forest and is characterized by 'open privacy' - view without views. All units are completely private and separate, with their own entrances. Their living areas and outdoor spaces are structurally arranged so that each is shielded from view, but without restricting their own views. The large glass surfaces and connecting design elements in rooms ensure a fusion of cozy coziness & harmonious nature experience. An unscripted experience of the natural outdoors thus takes place at the same time as the inspiring discovery of the creatively staged interior. Particular emphasis is placed on the careful coexistence of human and natural habitats through the resource-conserving construction, furnishing and operation of the building and the thoughtful recreation concept. Spacious but without waste and impressive without decadence, the cottage consists of three exceptionally designed apartments, which, although all completely separate and inconsiderate, can be combined in individually customizable units if necessary to an elaborate cottage by hidden and sound-insulated transitions. The huge meadow by the stream, with no visible neighbours, offers people a private view into the distance and provides an undisturbed habitat for wildlife. Arrive, play, sit together, go for a walk – all this happens only at the front of the house, where the entrances to the apartments are located, and opposite there is a meadow with a playground, a fire pit, a real circus caravan and, in summer, a pool for shared use. This ensures that life in the apartments and on the terraces remains secluded and private. A bicycle parking space, garbage place and utility room with washing machine, dryer and fridge-freezer combination in the upper area of the house front (on the street side) are available for shared use. The creek is welcome to be discovered and a foray along the fields is always beautiful. Feel free to ask what seasonal produce there is to harvest around the house! From the house there are paths to hiking and biking trails, bush taverns, and much more. Other things to note The hilly area is particularly suitable for gentle hiking or cycling: The Pöllauer Valley Nature Park offers a particularly large number of idyllic routes. The pilgrimage church Pöllauberg, which can be seen from the terraces, can be reached in an hour by bike or two hours on foot. Eastern Styria also offers many beautiful excursion destinations by car. In 15 to 25 minutes by car, you can reach the popular Stubenbergsee, the Herberstein Zoo, three thermal baths (H2O, Waltersdorf & Blumau) as well as a climbing garden, a summer toboggan run, two small ski areas, the Joglland hiking area and much more.
