Description
This stylish and unique place sets the stage for a memorable trip. Located on 5 peaceful acres in a country setting, 4 km from town, this rambling 1980's- built wooden country homestead is filled with creative art and history and a perfect escape from urban life or a great stop-over on your road travels. Own transport preferable, easily located for beautiful country drives, rainwater is precious so gentle showers, pet friendly (dog and cat), walking track, will cook hearty breakfast. The space Large country wooden homestead set on 5 grassy acres with a collection of trees., including a lovely collection of Bottletrees. Quiet and private from main road. There is a gate to open and close upon entry to the property which is serviced by a gravel road. There are NO footpaths - this is a country homestead only 4 km from the centre of town. If you are fit and active this is a great location for bike-riding on nearby country roads which are nice and flat and either gravel or sealed. Guest access Guests can use kitchen, dining area, front verandah, back access "bush house" area which is very relaxing in afternoons and a view to a back grassed property, usually dotted with black cattle grazing. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom which is for guest use. During your stay I am happy to interact with guests - or if they want there own space that is fine. I reside at the property permanently. I am always contactable on my mobile phone or email. Other things to note The property is serviced by rainwater only - which also means the water pressure is low - which is part of the joy of showering in water straight from the tank adjacent to the house. The toilets are septic - which means the only things that are flushed is what is excreted from your body and toilet paper. I have pets - two dogs and two cats and four chooks. I have a rooster that crows in the morning - so that will determine which bedroom you choose to sleep in.!!
