Woodside, Lake view with Hot Tub

‘Woodside’ is a cosy self-contained 1 bedroomed holiday home nestled within the Nottinghamshire countryside, surrounded by open fields and 25 acres of mature woodland, ideal for a romantic getaway. We are located in a peaceful rural location right on the door step of Sherwood Forest, Robin hood country. Our modern accommodation features an open plan dining area and fully fitted kitchen, dual aspect lounge, and luxury hot tub. The holiday home is set within the grounds of our own farmhouse. The space Opened in May 2024 We look forward to you experiencing the quality accommodation of ‘Woodside’. Set beside a mature woodland with surrounding open countryside views, frequent sightings of local wildlife including pheasant, roe deer, fox, and badgers are not uncommon. You may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our resident barn owls that frequent the owl box very close to where you are staying. In August 2025, a new lake was constructed, this is situated within the grounds of Woodside. Within the accommodation you will find a stylish, well equipped kitchen with open plan dining area, bathroom with bath and separate walk-in shower, dual aspect lounge with L shaped sofa and smart tv. The bedroom contains a double bed, chest of drawers and a unit for hanging clothes. Your private outside patio area is accessed via an external door and provides you access to the luxury 5 seater spa/hot tub. Please note, this is adult accommodation only. Guest access The whole house and luxury spa/hot tub is exclusively available to you. Woodside’ will be unlocked in readiness for your arrival, the door key will be found in the lock. If an occasion arises when we are not able to leave ‘Woodside’ unlocked we have a secure key cabinet attached to the wall outside of Woodside, this is where you can collect the key. We will inform you if this is the case and provide you with instructions to access the key Check in from 4pm. Check out by 10am. The accommodation is all on one level. There is ample parking on site in front of the green agricultural barn and is accessible by a private driveway. Other things to note Minimum stay is 2 nights Maximum stay is 28 days We will provide a small welcome pack, all the essentials to have a nice relaxing drink upon arrival. Bedding and towels provided. Central heating throughout, controlled by a nest thermostat located in the hallway. No pets. No smoking or the use of vapes within the holiday accommodation, smoking outside is fine, please use the ash trays provided. Before using the hot tub, please read and adhere to the rules. You may connect your mobile device via Bluetooth to the hot tub. There is no time curfew on the hot tub but please keep the noise levels to an acceptable level. We live on the premises at ‘Decoy Farm’ and are available should you have any queries, need any advice or recommendations about the local area, or just fancy a chat, however we do understand that some people just prefer to be left alone to enjoy their time away.
