McGrady Inn-Historic Old Church Building

Conveniently in the historic district of Charleston, IL. A pleasant walk from the campus of Eastern Illinois University and two blocks from downtown area, the McGrady Inn honors its heritage, a United Brethren church constructed in 1919. From the original maple floors to the nine-panel stained glass window at the center of the 23-foot sanctuary ceilings, guests are surrounded by the results of a three-year restoration matching the original craftsmanship. Guest access The McGrady Inn offers several common spaces within the building. There is a 55" tv in the lounge area on the balcony area. There is a reading area with a rocking chair. On the main floor there is a Restoration Hardware leather sofa and two leather Restoration Hardware club arm chairs for visiting. The kitchen area has a full size refrigerator, sink, microwave, and it is fully stock with dishes, glassware, and utensils. There is also an extra large table that seats 6 in the dining area. Other things to note A continental breakfast is included with your stay. It consists of muffins, bananas, coffee (Keurig Machine), breakfast bars, juice, milk, oatmeal, yogurt, and bottled water.
