Ziethen is located north of Anklam. The Peenetal Nature Reserve from Jarmen to Anklam is a 3414 hectare nature reserve in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which was established on May 2010. It includes parts of the Peene Valley with peat bogs, river valley bogs, bog forests and meadows. The Peene Valley is considered the largest contiguous lowland area in Central Europe. There were 156 bird and 37 fish species counted. (Source: Wikipedia) The space In our house – the former "count's" horse stable built in 1887 – there are two beautiful apartments and a twin room with separate bathroom. The double room "Radlerzimmer" is located on the ground floor, is very tastefully decorated and is particularly suitable for cyclists in transit from or to the Baltic Sea. The smaller apartment "Kastanienblick" on the 2nd floor is very suitable for short breaks, but also for cyclists on their way to the island of Usedom. Ziethen is directly connected to the Berlin-Usedom long-distance cycle route. The larger apartment "Parkblick" is on the ground floor, but through the lower garden there are also a few steps to this. This apartment is well equipped for longer stays. Both apartments can also be booked together, the large family table in the lower apartment can accommodate up to 8 people. The approx. 1000 m² garden is directly adjacent to the park and the old manor house and is also available for our guests. Our family has owned the property and building since 1990, and we have modernized and expanded it time and again.
