Lu Nidu #600
Description
In the charming old town of Montesardo, "Il Nido" is hidden among ancient walls and Salento vaults that tell stories of a bygone era. A secret corner where the silence of the shaded courtyard embraces the warmth of an intimate refuge, ready to welcome you and let you experience the authentic essence of Salento. The space This small and cozy century-old house is accessed through a private and shaded courtyard, an oasis of peace in the heart of the village. On the ground floor, the living room opens under the characteristic star-vaulted ceiling, typical of Salento, with a relaxation area and a dining table that invite you to moments of conviviality. An internal staircase leads to the first double bed, illuminated by the soft light of a lampshade inspired by the "pala di ficarigna", a plant that is symbolic of the Salento countryside. The ground floor is completed by a kitchenette overlooking the courtyard and a bathroom with a large shower. An external staircase leads to the terrace, a refuge suspended among the roofs of the village, furnished with lounge furniture for sweet contemplative breaks. Here you will find the second double bedroom, equipped with a small bathroom, and an outdoor shower perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. Light, history and atmosphere come together in this place, where every detail tells the authentic essence of Salento and welcomes every guest as if they were at home. Guest access All spaces in this property are for the exclusive use of guests. Other things to note Mons ardus - the village on the steep mountain Montesardo is a quiet hamlet of Alessano and, at 182 meters, is the highest town in Salento. Everything you need is in the village: bar, bakery, butcher shop, braceria, pizzeria, supermarket, pharmacy, fruit and vegetable shop, post office... Many other shops, restaurants and bars are located in Alessano, 2 km away, or in the many neighboring towns. Finibus terrae - infinite sea at the end of the world Located almost at the end of the peninsula and directly on one of the communication routes, the Adriatic and Ionian seas are only 10 kilometers away. Both coasts have their own charm: one part is rocky and jagged, with caves, small bays and a winding coastal road at the top with spectacular panoramic views. The other side is flatter, with miles of sandy beaches and breathtaking sunsets. Registration Details IT075002C200088439
