The property is a working farm with vineyards, a herd of Galloway cattle, a flock of colourful South African Meatmaster sheep, chickens, Indian Runner Ducks, Doves, Guinea Fowl, Toulouse Geese and Trout in the Dam. Braymont House is a farm stay Bed & Breakfast located in the heart of the renowned Braymont Garden, a 6 acre garden open to the public. Braymont Garden was started in August 2013 and is a popular wedding and event venue with many couples choosing to be married in the incredible and unique Tree Church. Braymont House has been architect designed to make the most of its incredible site. A creative modern construction of concrete panels, steel and glass with wide decks on three sides that are the perfect place to enjoy the stunning views from the elevated position on the hill. Chris is an avid collector and you’ll find Braymont House and Garden full of her eclectic finds. Chris’s creative flair brings it all together. Son, Adrian, has continued his fathers’ love of wine and has established his award winning winery at Braymont. A visit to Obsession Wines cellar door is a must for visitors. Obsession Wines is the only winery cellar door in the Snowy Mountains. The vineyards at Braymont grow Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Tempernillo and Albariño grapes. Guest access Your luxury Cellar Room at Braymont is all yours for the duration of your stay. Your hosts, Jim & Chris, live in their own private wing of Braymont House. Common areas shared with hosts and other guests are the entry foyer, the large semi-enclosed verandah room and the expansive decks. The large semi-enclosed verandah room is surrounded by decks and is the space guests can dine, relax with a book, mingle with your hosts and other guests or just take in the expansive views across the garden below and the spectacular Snowy Mountains. Guests love enjoying the serenity, indulging in a drink and watching the amazing sunsets from the deck. There’s plenty of parking at Braymont House. Overnight guests at Braymont House have garden entry included and are encouraged to wander, explore and enjoy the ambiance of this wonderful, soothing place. During your stay Your hosts will greet you when you arrive and, as your hosts live on site, they will be around during your stay. They are happy to make you an espresso coffee or pot of tea, although there are tea and coffee facilities in your suite. Jim and Chris can often be found out in the garden or the veggie patch. Chris loves animals and currently is the proud owner of 4 red toy poodles, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rose and Vintage. Wherever Chris is, the poodles won’t be far behind. Chris has always loved experimenting with food and flavours. A career highlight was having her own restaurant Christine’s on the Hill. Moving to Braymont in 2013 saw Chris develop her passion for gardening, animal husbandry while maintaining her love of cooking and hospitality. Braymont Garden is Chris’s pride and joy and now, along with Jim, they look forward to sharing Braymont House with guests. Other things to note A substantial continental breakfast is included in your stay - muesli, fresh fruit salad (no melon), vanilla bean yoghurt, a variety of breads, butter and condiments is located in the Verandah Room for guests to help themselves.
