The Arched Window

Enjoy a stay at our family friendly home in Port Lincoln. Look through our arched window at stunning views of Boston Bay, Boston island, and our signature gum trees. You can feel like you’re in a semi rural location here, yet we are only 3km from the Port Lincoln foreshore and shopping precinct, and 7 min drive from the airport. The enclosed yard is spacious and complete with sandpit, cubby house, monkey bars, and basketball ring. When it’s down time… just soak up the views from the deck. The space Our house has 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 guests. The main bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite, with sea views, the second bedroom has a queen sized bed and a seaview, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds and a garden view. Watch the boats and ships go by from our large open plan living space and kitchen. You can continue to see the sea from either of the two bathrooms…. And it is not uncommon to spot a pelican! Ceiling fans in all areas, double glazed windows and afternoon shade effectively keep the house cool in hot weather. A beach session in the morning on a hot day is recommended, then you can enjoy the shady deck in the afternoon. When the weather is colder, guests will be provided with firewood so that you can enjoy the ambience of our combustion wood heater. Guests are welcome to use the laundry downstairs, that can be accessed from the outside of the house. A dryer is also available for use. But with so many great activities and beaches to explore in and around Port Lincoln, hopefully you don’t need to hang out in the laundry too much! Guest access Guests are able to use most of the top level of the house, with some rooms used exclusively by the owners. The laundry downstairs is accessible to guests via the internal stairs, or externally via the sloped driveway. There is also a third toilet that can be used in the downstairs laundry area. Guests can access the garden and backyard, and enjoy the deck with outdoor seating and bbq facilities.
