Clay plaster house with cozy wood-burning stove
Description
On our old farm in the southern Vosges, we invite you to relax amidst enchanting nature – to eat well, sleep well, and enjoy yourself. There is no through traffic here. Forests and meadows, rocks and water – our property (with natural swimming lake) and its surroundings reflect the original and intensely experienceable landscape of the Vosges. Here you can be very close to nature - and to yourself. The space The historic customs cottage "La Tourelle" consists of a single room and has its own beautiful sun terrace overlooking the pond. The associated comfortable bathroom, heated and with window, is located about 20 steps away in the main house. It is very easy to reach via a few illuminated stone steps. In addition to our historic gate room, there is a nice little kitchen (without seating) that can be used together with the guests of the "couchette" for coffee, tea and small meals. In addition, we offer the possibility to book breakfast and/ or evening menu. If you are interested, please let us know before arrival. Access to the tiny house is via a staircase without a railing or via a natural path. People with walking difficulties should take this into account. Guest access The terrace and bathroom are exclusively for the guests of the Tourelle. The guest kitchen is shared with the residents of La Couchette. In addition, our guests are invited to use the entire 15,000-square-meter property and to stay at the various seats on the lake, on the meadow, on the large rock or in the forest. Other things to note Minimum stay 2 nights 🐕 Guests with dogs – please inquire in advance We love dogs – our dog Lotta lives here with us and is part of the house. Free-range chickens, ducks and three cats also live on the premises. Peaceful coexistence is very important to us – also with the other guests who are looking for peace and relaxation here. To make everyone feel comfortable, we ask you: • Only bring your dog if it is calm, easy to lead and can relax in a new environment. • A separate place (e.g. a blanket) helps your dog feel safe. • The site is not fenced – free running is therefore not possible. • Hunting, constant barking or marking are not permitted on the premises. • Please always remove any waste. 📝 Write us a little about your dog before booking, then we can see if it fits. Thank you for your understanding and for being mindful of others!
