The Mermaid Castle is a historic property in downtown Bisbee with giant koi ponds (some of our koi are almost 40 years old!) and beautiful gardens. This is a historic building and a peaceful oasis with three separate apartments (each floor has two bedrooms and one bath), so 6 bedrooms total. The property can sleep up to 12 guests. It is a very short walk to all restaurants, cafes, museums, shops and bars. The space We have been welcoming guests from all over the world to The Mermaid Castle for years. We were closed down most of 2023 for extensive renovations--mainly, completing the wrap-around porches. We are excited to reopen and for guests to be able to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and incredible views of the town and mountains from our new porches! Short Term Rental Permit #20218945 Guest access You will have full access to the three apartments, the wrap-around porches and all private garden and pond spaces, as well as 3 on-site parking spots. (There are additional public parking spots nearby, if needed.) Other things to note Kids are welcome at The Mermaid Castle, but must *always* be accompanied by an adult, due to water features on the property.** PET POLICY: All pets must be added to your reservation prior to your stay. Well-behaved dogs are welcome with a $25/per-night, per-pet fee. Maximum of 2 dogs. For the safety of the koi fish, all dogs must be leashed when outside of the apartments. If you think your dog may become stressed and destructive when left alone, we kindly ask that you take them with you when you leave the apartment or bring a crate. We reserve the right to charge for pet-related damage to the furnishings and/or the property. The Mermaid Castle is nestled in downtown Old Bisbee. Close to everything, and in a neighborhood where wonderful locals also live. We ask that guests be mindful of their noise level before 8am and after 10pm. (This is a beautiful space to gather with close friends or family, but it is not a party house.)
